Three weeks in Florida, part one…

At last, I have some time to update my blog… it’s been a busy couple of months for sure. Toward the end of October, I traveled from Denver to Florida, where my first stop was Ft. Lauderdale and the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. I arrived just after Hurricane Sandy’s departure, and it seemed that the storm had dampened attendance. Just about every cabbie was complaining. Nevertheless, I ran into a few friends and clients, and it’s always worthwhile to catch up with the rest of the marine industry.

After spending a couple days at the show, I headed due west to Marco Island and the Hilton Beach Resort and Spa, one of my longtime clients. They were in the final stages of an extensive renovation process, so they needed me to photograph all the different room types and update their food photography. Something I don’t mind at all, especially when I get to work with a fantastic chef!
