Kelby TV

Today I received an email from a good friend of mine that said: “Check this out! See what comes up at 28.50 mark!” He sent a link. I clicked on it, and it brought me to the website for Kelby TV. To those of you who are not familiar with Kelby TV, here is a bit of background:

In a nutshell, Kelby TV does online shows for creative professionals and provides tutorials on a variety of topics for photographers. It’s run by Scott Kelby, the editor and publisher of “Photoshop User” and “Layers” magazines, president and co-founder of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and president of Kelby Media Group. He’s a photographer, designer and award-winning author of more than 40 books, including “Photoshop Down & Dirty Tricks” and “The Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers.”

So I started watching the show, which discussed photograph critiquing. Around 27:30, Kelby and his guest host started discussing a photograph of a house and why it wasn’t good. And then he pulled up an image on, which he said was a good example of a house photograph. And that’s where my socks came off. It was one of my images.

I did a quick check, and there are about 30,000 images on 500px with the keyword “house.” So it’s a great honor to have the “God of Photoshop” choose one of my images and showcase it on Kelby TV.
