I finally had the chance to finish editing the images for Boating Magazine for our story on Pangas, the traditional fishing boats built in La Paz and widely used throughout Mexico. While there, I was able to hook up with one of BOA’s (one of the local kayak outfitters) captains who took me on a resupply run in a Panga to Isla Espiritu Santu, a national marine park and UNESCO site. Not only did we drop of beer and other survival items for the kayakers, but we also made a trip out to the Sea Lion colony, which was a pretty cool experience. Nothing gets your attention than a Sea Lion chomping down on your fins… Here are a few favorites from the assignment:
